MeatLoaf?!?! I Don't Get Any!

Thank you all for your kind comments. My Mommy feels some better. Anyway, my Mommy loves meatloaf! When she was younger her grandma would make it for her birthday dinner every year. She has a very special recipe that she would like to share with y'all! I would like to tell you that this recipe feeds her & Daddy so you may have to increase it, if your feeding more than two people, but you will love it, we promise that! you will need:
1lb. ground turkey meat(you can use beef Mommy & Daddy use turkey because it's not as greasy)
1/2 pack of saltine crackers
a little bit of milk
*1/2 tsp ground mustard
*1/2 tsp curry powder
*1/2 tsp seasoned salt
*1/2 tsp garlic powder
*1 tsp minced onion
*dash of pepper
*dash of salt
(for the sauce)
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
1 Tsp any type barbecue sauce
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Crush the 1/2 pack of saltines & mix all the seasonings in with them(the ones with the * next to them)
Add just enough milk to make the saltines soft. Almost like a paste. Because the crackers have absorbed the milk they will not absorb the grease of the meat(like bread crumbs), but the crackers will still give the meatloaf the fluffiness that the bread crumbs are most common for.
Mix in with your preferred meat. Make into a loaf, bake for 30-45 mins. 15 minutes in put some on the special sauce on.

Now to make the sauce. Mix the brown sugar, ketchup, & barbecue sauce together(sometimes it helps to microwave it). Add some to the top while the meatloaf is cooking. The sauce really makes the meatloaf, we serve the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, sweet peas & biscuits. My Daddy eats it the sauce on his mashed potatoes. We hope you enjoy this recipe!

I want some!

A Very Delicious Post

For New Years my Mommy made collards(for dollars), black eye peas(for pennies), yellow rice(for luck), jalapeno cheddar corn beard(for yummy-ness), & R.C. Cola Ham(for health)! My Mommy & I would like to post some pictures. & Mommy is going to give you a quick run down on how to make R.C. Cola Ham! But I'll tell you to begin with that you don't have to use R.C. Cola. When Mommy's grandmother started making the ham using it, it was the cheapest cola available & it tasted great. Now R.C. Cola is just as expensive(sometimes more) as Coca-Cola!
This is me waiting for some food.

You are going to need: A ham, Maraschino Cherries, Pineapple slices, Whole cloves, Brown Sugar, & 2 liters of your favorite cola.

Start off with a ham, any size will do, Mommy doesn't like spiral hams, she likes to cut her ham off in big chucks. Pour a little cola on the ham, just to get it wet. Drizzle the brown sugar all over the ham. Grab your cherries & whole cloves, use the cloves to pin the cherries to the ham.
Put as many as you like. Place your pineapple slices the same way. You see that tiny pan my Mommy put the ham in? DON'T DO THAT! She didn't have a medium pan & she was okay with draining the pan every 30 minutes. What she should have done was put it in the BIG pan we had & let those juices stay in the pan. Oh well, now she knows better. Also Mommy didn't have pineapple slices, she had crushed pineapple. Here is a close up.(before cooking) Now your ham should have baking instructions, but we'll tell you how we baked this one just in case it doesn't! 325 degrees, 18 minutes per pound(we had 6 pound ham). Just before you put the aluminum foil on top pour some more cola on that ham, be gentle, you don't want the cherries, pineapples, & brown sugar to wash away! Mommy then puts a little more brown sugar on the ham. Put it in the oven, every 45Min's, pour a little more cola on the ham. About ten minutes before your ham is due to be done, take the foil off & let it brown. What did you say ham? Your all finished? Your going to taste delish?! Oh well thank dog!
Jalapeno cheddar corn bread.

A Great New Years Meal:

And for your enjoyment, WRINKLE BUTT! So wrinkly!

Best Biscuits Ever!

What's that Mommy? What did you say?

We're going to make something...What are we going to make?
Chicken Biscuits? Oh yeah! Those are the Best Biscuits Ever!

Well Mommy... Let's get started!
Mommy decided that she would make me some chicken biscuits! As a reward because I haven't went boo boo in the apartment in over a month, I did have a pee pee accident yesterday though, but Mommy says it was her fault. So anyway, I have decided to post this recipe that my mom came up with. But first I'll show you some pictures from me & Mommy making the biscuits!

Mommy has to boil the chicken & then shred it(after it cools, of course)
Mommy do you want me to make sure that chicken is ready?

Hey Momma! Is that chicken broth? Let me have some!
After what seems like forever, you get "The Best Biscuits Ever!"

Okay, Here is the recipe:

1 & 1/2 cup of shredded chicken(5 drum sticks)

1 cup of chicken broth(you will use 1/2 cup with the rice, if using corn meal then you only need 1/2cup of chicken broth)

1 cup whole wheat flour

1/2 cup whole grain rice(or 1/3 cup cornmeal but that's not all that good for doggies)

1 tablespoon soft butter

Boil 5 drumsticks, let cool then shred. If you are using whole grain rice, which is healthier for doggies, then you are going to need to chop it up! Your going to need a blender or food processor, pour the rice in the blender or food processor, with half of the chicken broth, blend it up till the rice is half the size, pour the rice/chicken broth mixture into a cup & put it in the microwave for 30 sec. (it should now be almost paste like). Mix all ingredients together. Roll it out 1/4 inch, cut into desired shapes.

Now Mommy says she can't give you an exact baking time because all ovens are different and different times make the biscuits come out with different textures. Because my Mommy has a small oven & it cooks everything super fast, she only bakes the biscuits 10minutes for a soft texture and 15minutes for a harder texture. For maximum shelf life and best taste keep in the refrigerator. If they last that long:) I know I eat them up! I'll do anything for these biscuits! If you have any questions for my mommy about this recipe, just leave it in the comments:)

Mommy look I'm laying down, please can I have one now?
