Mommy was going to pick that skin off(because it so flaky) but she figured it would fall off on it's own. Mommy doesn't know if I bit it & it drained or if it burst, but she is glad it did. For those of you who had these bumps, did they look like this when they were going away? Have a great weekend everyone!

We are glad your bump is getting better. We can't tell you about the bump because you have different furs than our schnauzer brother did. We hope it heals quickly and all your brown furs come back

Eduardo, looks better now. Chloe has had a few of these previously & Mommy never got worried about them because she was never really bothered. Yeah, that's her! But usually the next few days, it bursts by itself or maybe Chloe bit them & they bled. And after that, the swelling goes down & heals.

That's kind of what Duke's bump looked like, but it was on the top of his head. His didn't puss though, it was just a hard bump that slowly went away to a scab. The scab has been there for about 2 months and now it seems it is slowly growing hair back.
We don't know much about those bumps but we are sure glad it is going away..

It sure looks like it is getting better and is about to go away for good!
It looks rather like the histiocytoma that Dennis had on his tail, which lasted for six weeks or so and produced lots of blood before going away on its own. Even though it ends in the bad letters "-oma" a histiocytoma isn't generally anything to worry about. I'll have my wife look at the picture and see what she thinks.
Histiocytomas are common in young dogs. How old is Eduardo again?
We had Dennis checked out by a vet when he had his bump; it was the vet who identified it as a histiocytoma.
