This morning while snuggling with my Mommy, she noticed something on my leg. Now she is so freaked out & worried she can't be calmed down by Daddy or Grandma. Grandma says it's nothing & to just put some Neosporin on it. Daddy tells Mommy to stop worrying it's probably just a bug bite or in grown hair. Please if you have seen this & know what it is let us know so my Mommy will stop worrying! Thanks!
I'm not worried at all Mommy!

If you are horribly afraid, then call the vet. Have them take a look at your blog and see what they have to say about it.
Hi Eduardo! It's the pug mommy here. My pugs have had lots of bumps so let me tell you what I think. Dixie had two bumps- one on her butt and looked like this, and one between her toes that looked like this. The toe one would have eventually just gone away or stayed the same if I hadn't gone to the vet. It was just an infection from a bug bite or splinter. We made it go away with medicines but it was not serious. The other one looked a little more like this- same roundness, about the size of a pencil eraser, or a little smaller. It was a mast cell tumor. I knew it was when it got bigger pretty quickly, and then when you would play with it (I tried to pop it thinking it was a zit) it would get bigger/smaller (fluctuate in size) and was pretty gross. If it seems to be growing/changing, it might be a MCT. If it gets smaller or starts to go away, probably an infection. Wait a day or so then schedule an appointment if you think you need it! Good luck and Eduardo I'm sure you will be fine- eitehr way- TWO of my three have had MCT's and they were both stage 1 and removed with clean borders, so if that's what it was I bet it wouldn't be a big deal at all. Tell your mommy to not worry!
Eduardo: Muzzer is no vet, but it might be a sebaceous cyst. Tobias Botias the schnauzer used to get them LOTS and our old vet showed muzzer how to put a heat pack on it to get it to drain. But you should check with your V.E.T. just to be sure.

Hi, Eduardo...
It kind of looks like Tanner's bump looked when it first started...
But, to be on the safe side, & if your Mom is really nervous about it, my Mom says she would call the Vet...

Hi Eduardo, I am sorry that you have this mystery bump. I would freak out if I saw something like that on Coco. He had some black spots that would grow suddenly in many spots and then dissapear and I called the dermatologist. She didn't know exactly what it was but to only hear her say "don't worry" made me feel much better. She was kind and charged only a little amount. If it makes you feel better, take him to the vet, if not maybe all this stress will make you sick and then its 2 docs instead of one (I get sick with stress a lot).
Chef has a bump like that... over that the 'Boxerblog'. I'd call the vet and have it checked out just to be on the safe side and Mommy won't have to cry when you two have a snuggle.
Hi Eduardo,
Oh, you are so cute! I am glad you are not worrying, hopefully that will help your mommy calm down.
We have a really super nice vet who we can call and email (with pictures) if we are worrying about something, and he can tell us what he thinks, before we make a trip to the vet. It helps us save a little bit of money if it is something we don't need to go in for. Is that something you can do with your vet?
I hope it is nothing serious, but I am sure that having a professional take a look at it will make mommy feel better.
Love Clover xo
Looks like plenty of good advice/suggestions...
Have woo showed 'em to your mommy yet?
Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
We think a trip to your Ol' Poke n Stick is in order! Better to be safe than sorry. Lots of bumps - most, in fact - are nothing at all, and you might get a yummy treat for nothing! But if it is something, better to catch it early.

Sorry, Eduardo's Mommy...I have no idea. Make a vet appointment if you're super worried, though!
We don't have any other advice. Mama freaks out like nobody's business so she's sending your mom lots of hugs. Mama said that if it was one of us, she'd keep an eye on it, but would take us in to get it looked at in the next week or so. Unless it seems to hurt you, then she'd make an appointment for sooner. Lots and lots of hugs and snugs for you guys!
love,
Tazo
Woof! Oh Oh Eduardo
My family recently discovered the same thing on my side. They took me to the vet right away ... it is like a cyst but the vet said nothing to worry. My family is still worried and kept on checking my side.
Hope you see the vet. Take Care! Woof Sugar
Hi Eduardo. We don't knows what it could be but hope that it's nothing serious. I says watch it a day or two and see what happens. That's what we did when I faked hurting my back to get treats and so luckily my plan didn't go awry and end up with a vet visit instead of lots of treats!
Hi Eduardo
Well you have lots of good advice there - keep an eye on it and phone the vet!
We are glad you are not worried - you know what these moms are!!
Eduardo, I know what you mean about not being worried when your mommy is FREAKING out. My mom is the queen of that, as daddy says. I get lots of bumps all over me and the vet said it's normal for pugs, but I've never had one that looked like that. If I were you, I'd get it looked at JUST to be sure. It never hurts to get it checked out!
Good luck! Let us know how you make out!
Hugs and Licks, Bruschi
PS, Hey Boss, if you need to take a day off to go to the vet, we'll all cover for you here in the office! BOL!
w00f's Eduardo, i second that it looks like the bump that tanner and chef has...me hopes its nuffin to worry about..
b safe,
~rocky~
Hello Eduardo
We would probably go to the VET just to have it all checked out. We have had little bumps like that and they have never been a problem. Keep us posted on how you are please.
Molly and Taffy
hmmmm, sorry eduarado. i am sure mommy is in more pain than you. mr. puggle has a bump like that near his armpit but he has had it his whole life? i would check with the vet to be sure.
hello eduardo! I don't know what that is but I am sure it is not terribly serious you just have a mommy like mine!
You should definetly get a zoom groom, it is the best feeling in the world.
I am glad we are friends now!
lots of licks,
lola
Hey Eduardo, that's a great pic of you not worrying. My mom is actually quite a worrier, too. The only thing I know about lumpies is that old Freddie had one on his chest that turned out to be a hematoma - a bump that didn't heal right and had to get drained. But I think it looked wider and softer than yours, which looks more cyst-like to my totally untrained and starting-to-get-more-worried-every-time-I-look-at-it eye. (Sorry, I told you my mom is a worrier, and unfortunately she's helping me type this.) I'm sure it'll be fine - you've got lots of good advice here. My mom needs to lie down.
See ya!
Joey
Mom thinks it looks a lot like a bug bite. One time a mean buggy bit me on my ***ahem*** privates, and my fur starting turning a blotchy color and I refused to eat that morning. Benadryl did the trick for me. Have you tried that? Good luck,
Mack
Bumps should be seen by the vet. 99.9% of the time they are absolutely nothing (cyst, fat bump, etc.) but your humans will start trawling the internet and finding all sorts of horrible things that it isn't, then they worry, they cry, they get depressed, they freak out and wring their hands. Then there's the whole vet trip, and them they're relieved when its really NOTHING... so save them all that freaking out and tell them to take you to the vet... then demand livergreat.
Meeshka
Milk it, milk that sympathy!!!!
I think it looks like a bug bite or one of those bumpies like Tanner gets that are nothing at all.
Hi, Eduardo!
I hope it is nothing serious but tell your mom about going to the vet to know about it.
I don't want her to be worried!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
We don't know what that is but if it really bothers Mom, then she should have it checked out. It could be nothing big but why take a chance?
Hope it all works out.
Tail wags, the OP Pack
We hope you get better soon, Eduardo, and that your mom figures out what the bumps are and they are not bad.
Roxy
Is that like the bump that Tanner got previously. I hope it goes away soon.

Hi Eduardo, I saw you visit on my blog few minutes ago. If you could go back, you will see your banner link is post already. If you don't like the banner, I will change it into what photos you want me to use. :)
Hopefully it is nothing serious. You could try the warm pack and see if it comes to a head. We love a good mystery. We always check the Mereck Vet manual online.
Hi Eduardo. That thingy looks like what I have. It's probably nothing, but you should have it checked out just to be sure. I'm going to the vet tomorrow and Mama's telling her to go ahead and - YIKES! - take them out. How long have you had it? If it's not gone in a week or so, have the vet check it out. Tell your Mommy to stop freaking out... it's not doing my Mama any good. She's a total whack job right now.
Good luck with your boo boo. Hugs to your mom.
xoxo
Oh Eduardo. I think you should go to the vet. I hope he will tell you it is nothing bad. Kisses, Faya
Eduardo, I dont know what is it but I hope it is no harm & disappear soon.
slurpy lick,
Twinkle
Hi Eduardo
It seems you have lots of good advice from other pups and pawents here, but to be on the safe side you should probably go and see the healer.
Big licks to you

ps this could be a good story for Bark Kent ;)
Hey, Eduardo!
We've been catching up on your last few posts, and boy, do we feel like we know you better! Bummer about the bump, man. We're thinking that your vet is the best bet. There are so many kinds of bumps, and most of them we've heard of are not serious at all, but only your vet can really tell.
Keep us posted on what you find out, and by the way, thanks for the photos of your wrinkles! WE LOVE YOUR WRINKLES, man!
Goober love & smooches for your bump,
Stanley
Pee Ess
your mama was SO bootiful in all those photos, and she & your dad looked so happy at their wedding.
Don't know what that bump might be....doesn't look like anything BAD, no harm in getting it checked out though!
We love your wrinkly expression, it's the cutest!
Slobbers xx
Hi Eduardo
I would go to the vet. They will know what it is & tell you how to treat it.
Love Ruby
Hope everything's okay! At least it's not bothering you yet...
Hi Eduardo
I'm very sorry but I can't help you about your problem... I think you must go to the Vet and be calm probably it will be anything.

Duke had a pink little bump on the top of his head from where Dinoco and Triton accidently scratched him. It was a raised bump that stayed there for about a month, then it just went away. I decided if it comes back I'm taking him to the vet to ask them what it is because he has a tiny bald spot!
Eduardo...you are just too cute for words. My mommy said that if your mommy is that worried...than you need to go to the doctor. My mommy's cocker used to get bumps like this and the doctor called them sebaceous cyst. She ended up having a total of 23 removed. In a couple of day sif it is not better, than go to the doggy doctor. It will make your mommy feel better.
Tail Wiggle s& Puppy Kisses,
Coco - The Princess
We are sure its nothing, but can only agree with the others, let a vet have a look. Then your Mummy won't be worried any more.
Simba and Jazzi xx
Those bumps are showing up everywhere....ummmmm Tanner has one and Chef has one too....
We should hire an investigator
Deetzy
I am so late catching up, I hope it was nothing serious!
I came by to see how you were doing, I hope the lump is nothing and your mom stops freaking out. though I know my mom would react the same. =)
Zoe had some bumps like that on her legs and they were nothing to worry about. We would watch them for any change in size and always had our vet look at them to be on the safe side.
We will keep our paws crossed for you and hope that it goes away quick.
Lots of Luv & Kisses
Addie and Lucie
Have you heard anything?
