I voted for a doggie! But I would also recommend a kittie.. They're just a bit of a pain when their little kitty-puppies. But then again.. so are puppies.. Either way you're going to have to be a good big brother and show them how to behave. and then you have a great snugglepartner all day long!

Hey dude, we naturally voted for a dog. Duh-we're dogs who else would we vote for? BOL
But if Mom needs to wait til she feels better, I know you are happy with her and Dad.
Cats have boxes they go in-which humans clean and doggies like to use as an hor devore box.
Birds pretty much are gone with one bite-oops-I mean, they have cages to be clean and don't really play with you. But some are pretty-some are loud-we have a cockatiel-he does not play with us but hollars real loud sometimes and mom has his cage to clean.
Hammies are cool-like fufu and girl girl, but really also gone in one bite-oops again-don't realy play with you and again with the cage cleaning.
Those are Mom's thoughts. Also, puppy or older dog? just to throw something else to think about in the mix..not an easy decision, hu Eduardo. We know your mommy and daddy will make the best one for y'all. But we stand by doggie. only a kitty if they can keep the "treat box" aka cat box out of your reach so you don't go eating the cat cookies. They are good, but parents hate us eating them!
