Mommy's Knight In Shining Fur

Tuesday morning my Grandma Shirley called my Mommy to tell her that she(Grandma Shirley) had appendicitis & had to have emergency surgery & told my Mommy to please come to the hospital just in case. My Mommy did not know what appendicitis was & was horrified at the thought of her Mommy having to have emergency surgery, & the, "just in case" comment set her over the edge. She burst into tears & tried to called her Daddy as instructed by her Mommy, I however did not stand by & let my Mommy cry! I was not sure who was making her cry but I was going to find out! I searched the house from top to bottom trying to find the culprit! I looked in the bathroom, barking as loud as I could telling whoever it was that made my Mommy cry to come out so I could give them a good whooping! I looked under the bed, and in the kitchen! I ran as fast as I could, still barking but continuously checking on my Mommy! Alas I could not find the jerk who hurt my Mommy. I came back to the bedroom just as my Mommy collapsed to the floor in uncontrollable sobs, I covered her in kisses ignoring her pushes. After what seemed like forever, my Daddy had arrived to take my Mommy to the hospital and I knew I needed to go to my bed. My Mommy didn't need to tell me I went, after I gave her one last kiss, she had somewhat stopped crying & told me I was her knight in shining fur.

Eduardo's Mommy Here: My Mom is home now & doing fine. I had never seen Eduardo behave the way he did that day. He barked louder than ever & was running from corner to corner of the apartment. When I did fall(I am quite ashamed of it) he came out of nowhere & kissed my face & even though I tried to push him away he returned. When my husband came home to take me to the hospital, I didn't have to tell Eduardo to go to his bed he just went & that has never happened! It seemed like he was looking for someone! He is my knight in shining fur! As you can see from the photo above his fur is very shiny!
