When Mommy Leaves...

When Mommy leaves for work I pout because I am very sad.

I get on her robe with one of my toys & try to get her to stay.

But it never works.

Noah the Airedale said...: Pinkies have to go to work unfortunately....we wish our pinky would stay home with us too. She wishes she could stay home with us. We're lucky though cause our dad works from home.

I don't know why they have to do that...My Mom tells me it has something to do with my foodables & treats & haircuts & stuff...

One good thing...They are always really happy to see us when they get home...

I know because I'm faced with the same situation, except when she leaves, I give her the saddest expression I can possibly muster, like I'm almost crying (I can see her melt - almost got her convinced to stay?)- but no, she leaves. But they do come back (smile, smile!)

Martha said...: Eduardo, our mum goes to work too. She only goes away for four hours but we dont talk to her when she is going cos we would like her to stay.
We have got used to it and curl up and go to sleep.
Once mum is in just after lunch time we all head out to the woods - so its not so bad.
You get used to it as long as it isnt for too long.
