The bargain hunter strikes again! But this time the gift is not for me...it's for my Mommy! As you all know my Mommy can't work so she spends all of her days at home with ME and there should be nothing wrong with that right? Wrong! Supposedly Mommy isn't content snuggling with me & watching daytime t.v. and she is worried about the bills. But what can she do? I told her not to worry, & climb up on the bed & snuggle with me, turn on Judge Judy, it's OK! But she says it's not! So she talked to my Grandma Shirley, the bargain hunter, to find out what to do. My Grandma Shirley says it would be good for my Mommy to get a hobby, maybe something that could generate money. So they talked about what my Mommy likes to do, what does she love, & what does she feel she could make a hobby out of. Mommy says she likes to draw & write, she loves me & she doesn't know what she could make a hobby out of. Well Grandma Shirley is the fountain of knowledge, the light bulb came on in her head & she told my Mommy 'I got it! Ana,(that's my Mommy's name)you love Eduardo, and you love to draw, so why not draw up some patterns for some dog cloths or dog toys & then your hobby could be sewing them?! You could generate money from that!' Mommy wasn't sure as she has never sewn before with a sewing machine, just by hand. Two days later, Grandma Shirley brought this to my house:
Mommy has been spending a lot of time with it & less with me & Daddy. She has cut up the extra sheets & pillow cases & is practicing sewing with them! It's not a old sewing machine it's just not a great sewing machine. The bargain hunter only paid five dollars for it at a yard sale. Anyway, I thought me & Mommy had a hobby: Snuggling! This is a very unwelcome gift!
