I laid around and cried for her to come back home to me & Daddy
Mommy was gone for a long time.
Where is my Mommy?
I was so happy!
My Daddy went & got my Mommy & brought her back home to me but I wanted to play & Mommy wanted to sleep. Mommy never denies me play time! What did that place do to her? I don't know but I'm glad to have my Mommy back home with me!Eduardo's Mommy Here:
I want to thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers, I am home now but my husband & I are debating on if I should go back. The doctors didn't "fix" my migraines they just gave me a pain killer. They didn't tell me why I'm having so much increased seizure activity & it's just so upsetting! To be honest the doctors didn't tell me much of anything! It was the nurses who filled in the blanks & I hope that doesn't offend any doctors who blog, it was just these doctors, at this particular hospital, not all doctors. The doctors told me they were going to give me steroid shots, I said okay, later I asked the doctors why were they giving me these shots & they tip toed around the answer. I was getting upset & I asked a nurse who I had become very fond of, & she told me, my brain was swollen and it was pressing on my skull. I just didn't understand why the doctors couldn't tell me that? Anyway, I came home to a very happy Eduardo & many e-mails & comments of get well wishes. Thank you all so much for taking the time to pray for me and to leave me all the well wishes! It means so much when someone you don't really know takes the time to pray for you or wish you well, even though they have no reason to! I think that's how I was able to get up out of the hospital even though I'm still pretty sick. My husband would call me & read the comments left on the Eduardo's blog & I just wanted to cry! I told the nurse that I became fond of about blogging & she laughed! I just can't wait to get to where I can take Eduardo out! I very much took advantage of this small everyday routine, now just to be able to step outside without the light & sounds hurting me would be great! That's my small goal for right now! We will be back to checking blogs soon!

We're so happy your Mom is home. Snuggle up close to her and make her feel better!
I'm glad you are home. Sorry you are still having problems and the doctors were so awful. Nurses are better anyway (Grammie is a nurse). Take it easy and don't over do it.
Woof Eduardo
We are so glad that your Mom is back at home with you. We know you missed her very much and she missed you as well.
Our Mom was very sick a couple of years ago and the doctors didn't know what was going on. She spent 5 days in the hospital and another 6 at a nursing home because the doctors didn't know what was wrong. After 11 days of being told that she had everything from menengitis to a brain tumor, our Mom finally check herself out and called her primary care doctor, demanding to see a specialist. The specialist was a humble doctor who didn't pretend to know everything and began researching on the internet and asking for other opinions from everyone, even his nurses and interns. It took only two days for the specialist to figure it out that Mom had a rare disease called Ramsey Hunt Syndrome. (non-fatal but very painful, thank dog for morphine) Because of the research he and his nurse did on the internet, they were able to treat our Mom.
Tell your Mom and Dad to just keep bugging the hell out of those doctors. Use the internet and do all of the research you can. Most of the doctors that Mom dealt with were extremely arrogant. The nurses were totally pawsome and always kept Mom in the loop as to what was going on. This may sound really dumb but it wouldn't hurt to ask your vet. Our vet is very smart and can recommend herbs and accupunture for different ailments.
Sorry to ramble on, we hope your Mom will be o.k. If you need anything, just woof.

Eduardo, I hope your mommy gets completely well very very soon and that she will take you for a long walk in the sunshine :)
I am so glad your mummy is home with you and just snuggle with her while she sleeps and let her rest alot. My mum says to tell your mum she is praying for her and so am I. I know how to pray now.
I hope your mum finds a new doctor, cuz we are worried about her.

YAY we are so glad Mom is home. I'm sorry about your problems with the Drs. I wish there was something else we could do.
I am so glad your mommy is home with you again. My mom has had the same experience, as in no real help--last month when she had a biopsy for cancer, she asked the doctor why did she have these symptoms after they found out she didn't have cancer, he said, I don't know and said he was done.
What do you do? She's now gone to another dr recommended as someone who is extra good at diagnosing odd problems (my mom is odd). For example, it took 15 years and 19 drs to diagnose gall bladder (she did not have the normal symptoms) and got diagnoses of 'maalox just doesn't work for you' to 'nervous person' to 'referred pain from somewhere else'. And it took an 'alternative' medicine dr to figure it out finally and by then she had stones everywhere in her system!
Sometimes it seems like medicine is so dark ages--they are just guessing at what is wrong and just do the regular normal tests which don't show anything. It's very hard to get drs to commit to a diagnosis unless you have the CLASSIC symptoms.
We pray that someone will help your mommy and find a good and quick solution.
love & wags,
River & mom

I hope that you are able to go to a different hospital (maybe?) and have better doctors and that things get all worked out.

Hi Eduardo & Mommy!
My blog reader is behind - so I didn't see this post this morning.
I am glad to hear your mom is home, but so sorry that she doesn't really have any relief. I hope things get sorted out, and quickly! Definitely see other doctors - don't settle for ones that you aren't comfortable with.
We are still thinking of you. Please let us know if we can do anything for you!
Love Clover xo
We're sad that your mom doesn't feel well, Eduardo. So we're going to say prayers for her too and hope that ours are the ones that tip the scales in her favor.

YAY!! Super-happy for the human mommy getting better!
Keep givin' her the good stuff, Eduardo!
We are very happy you are home, but unhappy that the doctors cannot seem to give you answers. That is just wrong. As for the Blogosphere, isn't it great? Having a whole community of people who share things with you even though they don't really know you (but they actually do?)
Please take care of yourself.

We're glad you're home and hope you don't have to go back. It's must be so disappointing the doctors there couldn't tell you more. They should be more understanding of people.
Take care and we're sending big hugs to you and Eduardo.

And, it is not necessary to stimulate the head about Epilepsy. When the head is strongly beaten, it becomes a chance to cause Epilepsy.

Eduardo, I am so glad your mommy is back home with you. I can imagine how much you missed her, and she missed you! I am sure all your snuggling will help her tons!
Eduardo's mommy, it makes me sad that you are still suffering so much. So many people and pups are out there thinking of you daily and wishing you well and I am glad that that is helping! We will continue wishing you well, and hope the doctors will find an answer soon!!
Take care, and lots of hugs and snuggles, Bruschi and Christen
We're very glad your mommy is home with you, Edouardo. Isn't it amazing how dogs like us are responsible for humans rallying around each other and making each other feel better ... isn't it just like a dog?
Edouardo's Mommy: Welcome home. We're sorry you are't completely better. Check with your GP and ask him/her to recommend a good neurologist - a female if possible. Women doctors don't pooh pooh other women's symptoms as much as male doctors do, and are much more diligent in trying to treat you. We wish you good luck in getting healthy again and will keep you always in our prayers.

Please give your mom a cuddle from me, Eduardo. I'm so glad she's home with you, and hope she feels better soon ... I know she's happy to be with you.
Everyone here is glad to hear that your Mom is home. You have to give her lots of snuggles, of course...but you also have to be her advocate, reminding her to stay on top of the doctors as much as possible. Okay, Eduardo? We'll be thinking about you.
xoxo - Bella
We are happy you are home and are wishing you the speedest recovery. Do not let the doctors brush you off. Make them tell you what is wrong and what they are doing. You have the right to know.
We're glad you're home -- but we agree with those who said you need to find another doctor/specialist who can diagnoze and relieve your symptoms --or at least be more communicative.
We do hope you;re feeling better now that you have your snuggler besides you.
Wirey love,
Jake and Just Harry
we're just glad Eduardo has you back!! Hope you get better soon!!!
